  3. Sad day.. The loss of four such brave souls.. My sincere and heartfelt condolences to the families and friends of these four men…
    Shiv sir,
Any CoI or BoI has been..

  4. Starting with the An-32 last year, 3~4 crashes have happened in the same geographical region. Are the Chinese shooting down our aircraft?

    This should be investigated.

  5. Mig21,23,27,29.. su30..miraz..jagur..an3 2..chatak..cheeta..mi8..hawk traner ..and HAL DRUVH all r man eater total respons HAL IAf make qulity and attianion aginst mad china

  6. R.I.P.
This incident throws light on the fact that all's not well with the Dhruv chopper. Hope HAL is able to identify and rectify the faults before other choppers face similar problems.

  7. Deep condolences to the families and may god give them strength to bear the loss.. Chinese angle should definitely be investigated and remedial measures should be taken to enhance Indian electronic intelligence in the area.

  8. Why the hell there are so many crashes in one area?? Is it because of Chinese SAM's …..F****k those chinks there is not need to be scared of them

  9. All the brave souls may rest in peace..
and even if the Chinese shoots down our planes..The MOD will be tight lipped about these incidences. No one would know why we are loosing our brave hearts in air crashes over there.

  10. An AN-32 had also crashed in the same area. Is it the handiwork of the Chinese through some SAM or electronic warfare?

  11. Greatest respect to all our fallen Military personnel! They do our nation proud in times of peace or war. They uphold the values that we hold dear and defend them valiantly. We salute them one and all. Jai Hind!

  12. RIP to brave man.

Anonymous @ 6:38 PM: All is never well with any flying object and Dhruv is just one. Days ago P.H's MI-17 crashed.

There are many probable reasons behind these crashes, hostile weather is one regularly spoken of. Also, sabotage angle with active Chinese involvement can't be denied. Few months ago two Chinese spies, disguising as tourists, with fake Indian documents were arrested from NE. However, amusingly they were let free to fly back like anyone. So like 'Shreyan' said, even if there is any Chinese angle in this series of crashes, we 'poor Indians' will never know, after all we have sent, by far the best government in center.

  13. So sad to hear. RIP and thank you for the service to the nation.

Also I would add few comments on some of the insecure Indians. The moment a accident happens in our military, their is a whole bunch which jump in and scream that it must be incompetence of the men who use it or it must have been made by the useless HAL. If it was imported and may be if used by "Non-Indian", then such thing will not happen.

I pity such people. Atleast the Pakistanis dont question the competency of their men in arms, even if their Army lies to them out right.

  14. Well the bodies are in bagdogra…brought in via guwahati.RIP.Bad weather is to be blamed.Time we have weather dopplers on all IA and IAF choppers.

    Absolutely correct.
Indians should realize that by criticizing the Indian military, Indian engineers, Indian scientists and Indian capability in general, they are undermining their confidence in themselves and their capacity to be useful to themselves, to others and more importantly, to the nation. Show some faith and live up to the spirit of Team India. Get with the program or get out!

  16. At least Pak Amy were prudent to select a proven medium lift helicopter – the Agusta Westland AW139 !

ALH Dhruv needs a sanity check whether there are any serious design flaws or not …or else we will keep on loosing more aircrew !

    RIP !

  17. @Francis@6:07.

Agusta Westland has suffered two crashes with 8 fatalities in Jan 2010 and Feb 2011!
Is that the kind or prudence you want us to go for.And learn from whom?the Pakis!!!LOL!The Pakis buy what is either gifted or financed under western or Chinese or US credit or with stolen money from civilian aid or probably drug money from Afghanistan.
The ALH is a very good helicopter with a very good safety record .And considering it was HALs maiden effort its outstanding.Flying the Himalayas,in Sikkim,Kashmir etc the ALH does which very few other helicopters in the world have to do. Nobody flies and operates higher than the Indian army(yes we occupy higher position in Siachen than the pakis). It an extremely tough and hazardous job and such incidents unfortunately will happen. All helos and aircraft continuously evolve over such lessons learnt,if any is there that is .In the meanwhile hundreds of ALH continue to do yeoman service in the toughest of terrain and conditions.
