I was wondering whether we could shoot these jets off the Viraat with JATO/RATO packs? That would solve the navy's current problem of 'carriers without jets & jets without carriers'.
For god sake are these the new Mig-29KUB that are to be delivered.. they seem to appear just out of a cold war workshop all rusted and dirty .. whereas the ones displayed as our fighters in MAKS2009 was all new and good !!!!

russians are not very good with the paint job though their machines' design is great.But i kinda like their ruggedness and robustness.
