The rocket pod is from Forges de Zeebrugge of Belgium and it fires 2.75-inch rockets for air-to-ground suppressive fire. The same rockets are used by the Lancer helicopter as well. The version of the MBDA-built Mistral used for engaging hostile attack helicopters or UAVs is the Mistral ATAM. It will also be on board the LCH. It is also due to be licence-assembled by BDL.

Any Idea why our army went for crude MILAN missiles than Israeli Spike..which beat Javelin and Milan options in many countries. Is it becoz its too expensive or something?
Our Army needs large nos Heli gunships with Longer range anti-tank missiles , DRDO should try to produce in india if needed with help from other countries . If drdo produces ontime only the weapons get real value.
