  1. Hey Shivji, is the sniper from the russian side or the indian side and any idea whats the name of those rifles russian infantry men are using

  2. Good to see he Dhruv in battle camo and looks like it is finding increasing adoption at least within the Indian Army.

Also looks like the MoD is moving decisively towards cancelling the A/W order for VVIP rotor crafts. I think they should just cancel that order and force A/W to refund all monies paid to date and the MoD should award the contract to Sikorsky in favor of acquiring the S-92 platform that the Tata's are manufacturing in India !

  3. hey Arj, the ruskies are using Dragunov SVD. I was also wondering, the sniper in the third pic, is it Indian or Russian?

  4. The Russians look like fish out of water in these desert exercises. May be a shot of vodka would come as a relief :-)))

  5. Thanks for the response guys, really appreciate it. I think looking at his fingers the sniper in question should be a Russian, and yes man your spot on. its is a draganov svd. thank you. thanks for the amazing pics shivji.

  6. Where are you? You posted one piece on 17th October and then one on 24th October. Then a complete silence.

Come on…post with some regularity or give info..about a skip week.

  7. off course its a russkie in the camo!!….i've never seen anyone from the indian army in such camo…we hardly give our guys decent fatigues….camo toh door ki baat hai…sad…we have the best guys..but poor equipment…

  8. Hi Shiv,
Would it be possible for you to do a status check on LCA. It has been cooooooming for a long time now. Thanks

  9. Good to see the interoperability of the two forces. India should also confirm its order for LHD soon and have amphibious assault exercises with the Russians. Just having a strong navy and good airlift capability not enough. You never know which beach you may have to land on in the future.
