I’ve been staring at this picture for whole minutes since I got it a while ago. I don’t know why this feels like the first ever picture I’ve seen of the wheeled Nishant UAV on a tarmac/bay. The Nishant, as it stands of course, doesn’t ever need a tarmac — it is launched using a truck-based mobile hydropneumatic launcher. Did a quick check — this Nishant was towed down the tarmac for a display, and that’s where this photograph was taken. Still, nice. Thanks to PKS for reminding me about where the first wheeled Nishant was displayed.
what happened to the rustom ?????
It is a very necessary item and must be progressing. However it may still need to develop in to perfection.
Wow first look of wheeled version of Nishant.
This is second open source image of Nishant UAV with tri-cycle gear. I recall one of the last AeroIndia's brochures featured a just airborne Nishant with tri-cycle landing gear. Was that one launched from a catapult with tri-cycle landing gear?
But the common feature of the both the images is poor (pixelated) quality of picture.
good scoop shiv!
Shiv,
Great Picture. But i am having a question. Will this new tri wheel design will take off and land like conventional aircraft?
Looking at the picture i think trials for Nishant-2 has begun.
Shiv please update us on the status with special features of this variant.
Thank you.

Shiv,
Can you please upload some sexy wall-papers of LCA-Navy lunched on 6th July…

To [email protected]: Am in Kolkata for the time being. Nice of you to ask.
Look like missing all on board equipment and just for tricycle trial!
seems some body has brought the unused tricycle wheels from their kid's tricyle at thier home to fix "The Taxing Problem"…
