I hope the captain and the crew of the INS Vindhyagiri were severely reprimanded and removed from active status after this colossal FUBAR.
In the US Navy, all such incidents warrant an Admirals Mast where the entire incident is cross examined by a panel of experts to see if the captain and the crew follow all standard procedures and maintained proper protocols.
For this to occur and the watch officer to not to notice nor for the bridge to notice is a total FUBAR especially so close to port where separation distances are to be strictly maintained military or non-military.

She was moved to drydock just before commisioning of INS Satpura. Currently she is berthed alongside decomisioned INS Dunagiri. May be they are swapping the machinery.
Hey Shiv, I read somewhere that India's second Boomer is getting ready at Vizag and has been tentatively named INS Aridaman, is that true?
