look at those carnards….are they real….of any use?? can they withstand any pressure…….looks as if one can break it off…………
you know what one would say when he sees those dhruvs…Hullo! which village……. do these warrant a picture…….. great machines , great investment etc but shoddy paint job, even on the sukhoi…….with that paint job that su would look larger than a A380 on the radar……….
wow, so the Germans have brought the Meteor and the Storm Shadow along? is IAF interested in those? I heard somewhere that Meteor was offered as part of some deal.
anon @ 9:08am No,I assure you those are shields used to protect the pilot from machine gunfire and RPGs when he is climbing up , in case of a hostile attack on the airbase and the tarmac/parking bay in specific. This was personally conveyed to me by the president of EADS who shared his breakfast with me ,today morning and confirmed by the Chief Test pilot ,who graciously handed over to me the leftovers of his lunch in the afternoon.I was even invited to witness the integration of those shields on the first Eurofighter Typhoon prototype way back in 1990.

those are not canards..they are shields used for protecting the pilot when he climbs up/down the aircraft.
