A sensible decision to recruit from the open market. The usual DRDO exam is cumbersome and leaves ample scope for manipulation, favourtism, corruption, red tape.
Hope this leads to atleast a few good men being recruited to change the org from the inside.
Monthly remunerations listed below are on consolidated basis and will be fixed for individual cases based on qualification, relevance and length of experience. The appointment will be on a fixed duration contractual mode, initially for a period of one year.
o Entry level with experience up to 3 years : up to40,000 o With experience of 3 years and above :50,000 to1,00,000 o Experts :1,00,000 to1,50,000 o Specialists :1,50,000 to2,50,000
The qualification and experience prescribed does not automatically make candidates eligible to be called for interview. Based on academic performance, relevant work experience and other parameters in the bio-data submitted on-line, candidates will be shortlisted for interview. No travel reimbursement is admissible for candidates who are called to attend the interview at NCAD office in Bangalore.
I wish I had some aeronautical engineering background or any of the above mentioned skillsets. I would had jumped right in.
This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who want to work on something substantial. It will be hard work, harder than anything they will get to do anywhere in the world, for now. As the many men and women who have written the world's finest control system that is now used in the LCA. i have many friends in the aerospace business who wouldn't mind becoming Indian citizens to work on a project like this.
Why is that pvt companies have never built one till now..but now that the govt plans to build one….they want the govt to fund their (non existent till date)plans ???

soon you will see someone saying thats too much..they are trying to poach from the pvt sector only pvt sector has the right to pay high salaries to employees…
lack of funds is not why millions starve…the amount of tax write of every year is much much more than what it would take to feed every indian even by the most inclusive reports!!
We dont have a lack of money..we just need to get rid of the thinking that the cos have a first right to it

But they want to start new projects!
Complete the existing ones first.

Some jingoistic morons will say "go for it" for every single thing, do they even realize that such an aircraft has no potential?
How are you going to compete with Boeing and Airbus?
Aircraft like the Tejas and the Saras can be shoved down the throat of the Indian Air Force, but what will you do with this?

I feel the government should limit itself to Defense technologies, a civilian airliner should not be a priority where millions still starve.
If they make this .. it will also help military. Just imagine the derivatives of this project as bombars, AWACS platform, Tanker.
