The photo above is the first of three Project 11356 stealth frigates being built by the Yantar shipyard in Kalinigrad, Russia for the Indian Navy. These are Krivaks follow-on to the Talwar-class vessels in service. The Russian government recently said the ships would all be commissioned by their deadline of 2012. The warship pictured above will be launched in October and undergo sea-trials in the Baltic Sea.
