As expected, the first Embraer-DRDO AEW&C jet, with all-Indian sensors, will be present at the Air Force Day celebration. Here’s the aircraft today in this picture from a full dress-rehearsal at Hindon air force station. That’s an Akash Ganga IAF skydiver landing in front of the jet.

Are you saying that planar AESA array has been installed? this is not a dummy radar?
Hey Shiv…it still did not have any radar mounted…though it had some internal sensors…I talked to the IAF personnel yesterday who were in-charge of it…it just had a dummy weight to balance the aircraft…

It would be real nice to see ground and naval installations of these AESA radars.
