nice, but the airframe will need heavy refinement if this is indeed how they plan to design it. the wing tips will be very radar friendly if made this way. but overall, a good start. nice to see our designers are heading in the right direction and not sticking to arcane concepts.
just waiting to see these flying overhead and protecting india's airspace
WHAT WOULD BE THE ROLE OF OF THIS UCAV-AURA ????????
COMBAT LIKE AMERICAN DRONE
OR
SIMPLY RECONAISSANCE
This is spastic. Why would an unmanned vehicle have such wings.
Retard!

As Shiv clearly said, and I quote, "Brazilian aerospace blogger EM Pinto sent me this quick impression he made of what India's AURA UCAV could look like"
So, its not by our aerospace designers..
However, you are right, many sharp angles if the idea was for stealth.
That said, I dont think I could have come with such a sexy looking concept.. EM Pinto is good 🙂 Gracias senor Pinto, for the good thoughts and positive vibes being sent our way.
FYI Rohit,
UCAV stands for Unmanned Combat Air Vehicle, so there are other UAV Unmanned Aerial Vehicle projects underway that will take care of reconnaissance.
One other thing, generally Capitals or Upper case means shouting ( I understand your intention was not to shout) best avoided.
🙂
Je Baat!!!
Babies like this mean that in the event of incidents like 26/11 we can punish the perpetrators right at their doorstep. Imagine this…during a 26/11 like episode our signals intelligence folks will track incoming calls to the perpetrators and locate their source. Then such UCAVs can immediately be sent in to bomb the "Chachas" wherever they may be. You think in a country like Pakistan anybody will lose sweat about an 'unexplained' bombing? Suuuwweeeet! We need these UCAVs like yesterday! Hurry up guys!
I feel that with in next five to six years we will need to fight china. Than we will need AURA.
Awake up India.
Looks cool. Wonder how mny years will pass beore its operatinal.
1st picture is B2 bomber
we are good at drawing stuff,,lets first get basic things done like lca kaveri and other things needed by our men to face dragon
"Unofficial"? More like "Hypothetical". Sensationalism as usual…
here is the blog of the BRAZILIAN person E.M. PINTO

add another 30 yrs shiv …
i am fed up with all this hype … nothing will become a reality anyways …
Can i submit my drawings … hmm i mean designs?
See the maturity of the Brazilian designer.
And see our DRDO designers trying to copy to the Americans.
My dear DRDO scientists, it will be better if you do R&D in Indian politics as Mr Saraswat is doing…
Finally thanks to our Brazilian friend EM Pinto.
Slow news day?
Maybe you could tag this as "fan art" ! Go on shiv, sketch one yourself and let's see it 🙂
prashanth: good point! fan art!
the role for aura has not been deifine but we need to understand its a normal aircraft but unmanned thus the roles can be as follows
1: deep penetration strike (A2G)
2: air superiority (A2A)
3: bomber (A2G heavy)
4: Multirole
5: Reconnaissance / attack
the design for all these roles will very drastically.
the neuron and the british ucav are evolving platforms
Will this have a French engine or American ?
