On May 26-28, fourteen years ago, Mi-17 Helicopter units of the Indian Air Force, assaulted the enemy on the mountainous heights of the Kargil sector, namely at Tiger Hill complex and Tololing Ridge. This reconstructed animated movie by the superbly talented Anurag Rana reconstructs the entire attack, pays homage to all air warriors, the men and their machines, of 152 HU – “The Mighty Armour” and 129 HU – “The Nubra Warriors”, who, very well understanding the odds against them, went in to fulfill their missions. Especially dedicated to the crew of Nubra-3, which became martyrs on this very day, 14 years ago, on 28th May 1999.
Special thanks to Anurag for allowing Livefist to host this amazing piece of work.

Salutes to the brave soldiers.
Question is today do we have a platforms in our arsenal for a situation like this? For a effective air support at these heights. ( I mean a ready platform).
Damn.!!!
Know Anurag Rana from your previous post of Rafael Visualization.
This is THE way of informing the coming generations about the glorious past and the sacrifices made.
Thumbs up to ThreyeInc Team.!!
Feelo pround when we see our heroes do such extra ordinary feats of bravery for our country. But at the same time feel sad on one had heroes dies and on the other our politicians of congress and others destroy the country with scams and go free. Soldiers die for politicians mistake as so many scams hit their procural process of arms even some section of army is corrupt but not the frontline fighters.
It was really unprofessional on the part of the IAF to let nubra 3 fly into a SAM rich airspace without flares….hope that the new apaches wont be short of flares
World class. Tone down the rhetoric and bombast – sounds like a Govt channel!

Can we have the same kind of reproduction of the exploits of Mirage-2000 !!!!!
