As happy as it makes you Mr Shiv, I hope you are aware that the SAAF is in totally dire straits. They have operational funding to allow ONLY 550 hours of total flying for the ENTIRE Gripen fleet this year. With such a piss poor operational flying budget, the SAAF will struggle to keep 2 pilots fully operational at NATO standard of 240 hours per year (20 hours per month). The bulk of that 550 hours will be used up during this World Cup so there will be no operational flying budget left for the SAAF from July to the end of the year.

SAAF´s problem of low funding is shared by many air-forces around the world.
It can partially be compensated with time in simulators.
