shive i think we should go for F35c better then this it will help in lca project
The Typhoon is a plane with no future. It's more expensive than a Rafale and far less capable. In addition, it is well known that EADS can't sell a plane without the approval of France…
In Europe everybody knows the Typhoon has no chance in MMRCA!
"The Typhoon is a plane with no future. It's more expensive than a Rafale and far less capable."
The Rafale costs 142 million euros, according to "Le Monde".
How the Eurofighter can cost more than that?
m not an expert, but personally think,IAF should opt for RAFALE.firstly its from the same manufacturer who manufactured mirages who proved their worthiness durin kargil war n even they donot expressed anything when drdo made sm modifications when INDIA was under restrictions
Buy Gripen, thats what we need.
Why to buy expensive Eurojet or Rafael, when Gripen can do all tasks ?
Also get SAAB on their knees to give everything about that plane ( except the American engine )
Anon @ 10:39 PM
Sorry can't force SAAB to give everything on that plane, as ~1/3rd of the components are American.
RAFALE is better than both Eurofighter and Gripen in ever sense, even its ground support capabilities are proven in Afganistan, but Gripen and Eurofighter is still need to prove themself
"The Rafale costs 142 million euros, according to "Le Monde".

Yes, 142 (euros) including the R&D, all weapons (and R&D for weapons), military tests etc… divided by the number of plane delivered until 2009.
This is obviously not the unitary cost of the plane (about 60 to 80 millions).
The EF is known to be much more expensive and less capable!
A futile exercise in damage control rather late in the day.
By the way whats the cost of EF
