I posted here a few weeks ago about the Defence Ministry’s rather peculiar decision to depict the Boeing F/A-18E/F Super Hornet (a contender in the Indian MMRCA competition) as part of official publicity and logo material for AeroIndia 2011. Well, I don’t know if someone reacted to my post (!), but the latest is that they’ve done away with that — and replaced it with the theme depicted above: an ALH Dhruv from the IAF Sarang display team and an LCA Tejas along with a GSLV rocket. Oh well. The next edition of AeroIndia takes place from 9-13 February 2011.
Livefist impact!!!
dont be so modiest shiv. this is definitely an impact of your post. great going.
good decision by the aeroindia folks. it was most inappropriate to have the superhornet as part of the merchandise. glad they have changed it.
It can not be a mere coincidence. they have rightly reacted to the post.
Not Complaining, but wouldn't it be better they further refine this. Good they reacted and kudos to Shiv and good way to go, dosen't matter for Aero India folks.
Should there be a group of colored F-16's flying about the logo?
If it says international participation even then the representation can be better.
Not bad for now.
Awesome, finally got rid of that silly plane and put one of our own. I hope they have learnt their lesson.
I don't know why its so difficult for the people behind the show to showcase our own machines.
