They arrived late. They had engine issues after they landed. There’s been reported acrimony from the Russian side anyway. But on Saturday, they were finally cleared to fly. Fabulous show.

And I visited the Air Show on Sunday just for them.

That telegraph article you linked was written without much knowledge. Also the reason why India is probably looking for western sources is because of the problem with Russia always delaying the deal. Always. Russian hardware has improved tremendously, and if they do everything properly I am pretty sure India wouldn't shy away from them. It's not like we have stopped buying. We have huge deals still going on with Russia. This is just the butthurt from losing the MRCA (Like the Brits with their typhoon)

i was there on Saturday, was an excellent show. Su-27s were great. I enjoyed seeing the Rafale fighter the most though both in the air and seeing it parked alongside the Tejas. It was great seeing the Rudra and LCH too, and also the Su-30. Can't wait to see the C-17 in Indian colors in India.
