Shiv, this image is like the scene when someone lying down, looking up at the legs of a tall Russian beauty.
there has been lot of ambiguity around sam system…for short range we had three options barak,trishul and now maitri. now trishul status has been demoted to technology demonstrator, so is barak not good……so why there is need for new system care to clarify????????

some info for you all..MBDA took a look at what drdo has in terms of tech and were impressed by capability in term of radars, C3I software & launchers & even missile airframe and propulsion..so these will be mostly indian (especially radar, and Command control equipment etc) but the missile itself will be codeveloped with MBDA…because MBDA guys have real key thing where india is still lagging, small compact seekers..anyways, thats the scoop..!!
Do not let MBDA take us for a ride as the Russians did with Bhramos.
India needs short range new gen missiles, but need to concentrate in longer range sam’s similar to s-400 .
