This is the INS Viraat undergoing routine refit and maintenance in the repair dock at the CSL, Kochi. Had the pleasure of bumping into her CO, Captain Anil Chawla at Kochi. The carrier is undergoing a general maintenance routine — cleaning up her engines, hydraulics and giving the fresh metal plating on the hull a once over. She’ll be back in the water in a few months.

nice…
How long the general overhauling takes for an aircraft carrier of that class?
Old Faithful!
Shiv,
You broke the story on mass infiltration of 8000 terrorists from POK into India. THis more, or less, goes with what I have been writing.
However, please quickly post an article on this – this could be the “make or break” moment.
After the failed BDR revolt in Bangladesh which ISI tried to initiate, this could be the “next desperate” step.
THanks
BuA.
shipyard looks more like an scrapyard.
maybe i don’t know how shipyards actually looks or works but this one looks really out of shape.
also, major upgrade/repairs seems to be going on in radars. are they being updated/replaced?
LOL ! how do you think shipyards look like ?? FAB labs ??
paint and acetelyene cylinders, electric cables all in close proximity to ship!!!
I just hope and pray that there are no time / cost over-runs in this project and that we get the Vikrant on time.
that BDR mutiny is nothing but the handiwork of porkis! what bengal DA has told is absolutely correct. Educate the govt and srr that another 26/11 will not repeat. kerala has become a hub for ISI activities. Cochinshipyard should be on its gaurd!
