This photo, taken a few months ago, shows the ten members of HAL’s embedded team in Ecuador that provides maintenance and other support to the fleet. The team is led by R Narayanan, a Deputy General Manager from HAL’s MRO division. This is the team that has now been joined by three others from Bangalore for the crash investigation. Also in the photo are Indian Ambassador Deepak Bhojwani and some Ecuadorian officials. They’re standing in front of the ALH Dhruv (FAE-601) used as a VIP transport for the country’s President.
