The promos of Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor’s new film Mausam were put out yesterday. Kapoor stars as an Indian Air Force pilot in the film. And if the promo is anything to go by, he’s a Mirage 2000H pilot (Floggers/[Tornados] landing behind him in the fourth still), though for the film itself, he was shot in a UAE Air Force F-16 Block 60 and RAF aircraft as well. What is the jet in that last picture though — anyone?

It's a Tornado GR4
who can't guess its an f-16…..
I think that is the Eurofighter Typhoon
Without a shadow of a doubt this is an RAF Tornado GR4 as stated by Mihir above.
Flt LT. Goodfellow? wat is it a bollywood movie or a hollywood movie?
Its a Panavia Tornado ADV…
It really sad that they had to use UAE F16 not indian fighters.
I just love the second pic..which looks like a Mirage taking off but actually there are two Mirages taking off simultaneously.
That's exactly the question I had before I read the post.
That is a Panevia Tornado.
What is he doing in UAE and RAF jet's, hope the film's good and not a Agnipankh.
The Panavia Tornado.
Bollywood should use their expertise to turn out more realistic military movies, the types we are used to from Hollywood. Spare us the masala; though add a lot of cold war style black ops. yeah!
@ shiv Aroor
That is the F-16 Fighting Falcon the actor flew in 2011 Airshow
Thanks

ITS AN F-16 AT AERO INDIA 2011
Its a panavia tornado..as said by Mihir.
F16 at Aero India where some scenes were shot. A friend showed me movie of the shooting progress. Cant guess what the hell an F16 – that too in UAE markings – will do in the movie
It's IJT.
Its a Tornado.. not an F-16.. The first post is true..
Yep its a Tornado ..
Base of vert stab has an air scoop.

The time has come for reserving the Director's role for the IAF brass. The civvies are just not up to the mark !
yup a Tornado..but how can one tell if its an ADV or GR4? Tornado ADV's retired some months ago, but when was this movie's scenes in a Tornado shot ? the ADV could still have been operational when that was shot.
Clearly an F-16
Where did u get those I cdn't find them

Check this out jane states that Barak 8 is under production and deliveries are under way…!!!
this is a mirage 2000 probably
f14 or f15
The fourth still is a pair of Tornados as well, not Floggers.
Tornado for sure.. evidenced by the duct at the base of the tail and the horizontal sensor antenna.

its time we display our military might on screen, like Michael Bay movies
Its nothing else but a Tornado GR4
bollywood will create another melodrama with so much mush mush and tear tear that i wont be able to bear.
Panavia Tornade ADV
Confirmed. It's an RAF Tornado that Shahid was flown in at a base new Edinburgh in August last year. See http://bit.ly/nSILg5
Definitely RAF. Goodfellow features in this list.

The last picture is that of an Mirage 2000
last one is a tornado…
Shiv,
It is Tornado GR 4, Look at the small wings(protrusion) on the tail fin!
Folks, there's no argument. The question was answered in the first comment by Mihir. This is Shahid in a Tornado. End of discussion. 🙂
This is F22 raptor that Shahid flew secretly in.
It is the world's best fighter the JF-17.
@Adarsh..
The adv variant also sport the same wing lets in the vertical stabilizer section. And the RWR is somewhat same in shape of those variant. And really the scope to distinguish between GR4 and ADV is less given the less scope of the photograph. If you can differentiate between the Console of the WSO in two models then there's a little opportunity that some one can really distinguish the model. But as shiv said…End of discussion.. 🙂
As far as I can see from the trailer, its not a air force movie. It's more of a love story and it just that the guy in the movie happens to be a pilot.
I dnt knw where exactly this still has been shot, but as far as the jet in picture is concerned, it is, of course, a Eurofighter Typhoon trainer!!
REALLY BAD FELLOW!!!
Its a Tornado F3…not a GR4/f15/16. I'm 100% sure
