  1. How about scrapping MMRCA and instead spending that money on buying more Tejas and accelerating the development of AMCA?

  2. The way Su30MKI are being introduced more and more in to air superiority roles, it is possible that Rafale may be put more and more in the role of multirole fighters.

  3. Really a bad idea investing your future air force into Tejas. These Mig 21 ++ aircraft no good to match the fifth generation technology thats going to become norm in the future.

  4. Both are absolutely wonderful planes!

EF seems more like an Air superiority fighter while Rafale has more multirole capabilities.

We are already inducting 272 Su30MKIs, I don't see the need for more Air superiority fighters.

Tejas has "bebas"ed the IAF. Way to go DRDO!

  5. Rafale is certainly a better aircraft and exactly what india want. I think there are 90% chance of rafale wining competition. Moreover France is more open to share SSN & missile tech with india.
It has all kind of weaponry which india need and cost less than US

  6. It certainly WOULD be nice to have Indias choice settled once and for all, but somehow I'm still unsure if India will follow through once she understands that the pricetags will remain high and that both suppliers already have left their best and final pricings…
The Typhoon would be my choice though 😉
